First Place competition entry for the redevelopment of the Milan waterfront called La Darsena. This Da Vincian canal network was created to bring stone materials to Milan for the creation of the Duomo (Main Cathedral),

Inspired by the cranes and industrial history of the waterfront, the proposal creates a series of pavilions for art, exhibition, public gathering, and recreation in the same locations as the previous industrial equipment.

Each pavilion reveals itself in greater and less enclosure with piers and outdoor space to allow the Milanese to re-engage with the waterfront.
